  PROGRAM INFORMATION

The 2010 summer schedule is set, we will begin classes the week of June 28th at Harvest Hill Golf Center. Concord Crest programming will be starting in June as well. Cost this year will be $85 per student, $75 per student for families with 2 students and $65 per student for families with 3 or more students. There will be partial and full scholarships available for families that qualify, please contact Fred Zillner for more information.

Please review the attached schedules, along with short descriptions of what classes are available and a summary of what we will accomplish over the summer. A detailed class schedule will be given to each student at the 1st session, we ask that everyone honors their commitment to the program and participates in all sessions for their group.

The First Tee Life Skills Experience

The First Tee Life Skills Experience is one of the unique features that differentiates The First Tee from many other successful junior golf programs.  Through the Life Skills Experience, participants learn valuable lessons about the importance of maintaining a positive attitude; how to make decisions by thinking about the possible consequences and how to define and set goals from the golf course to everyday life.
The First Tee Certification Process

The First Tee wants everyone who completes The First Tee Experience to have acquired basic golf skills and to be able to demonstrate certain fundamental life skill concepts – such as interpersonal communication and the importance of rules and etiquette.
The First Tee Coach

The First Tee Coach Program is an educational training program that prepares staff and volunteers at Chapters of The First Tee to deliver The First Tee Life Skills Experience, which includes the TARGET program, as well as the Par, Birdie, Eagle and Ace levels of certification.
Assistant Coach Training
The First Tee Assistant Coach Training for individuals who want to be more involved with the ongoing coaching and mentoring of The First Tee participants at the Chapter level but may not be able to spend the time required to become recognized as a The First Tee Coach.
